Socanomics is a woman-owned and minority-owned health-tech company that brings Soca music-driven dance, fitness & wellness to a global student base via virtual content and IRL experiences.
Out of necessity to keep people moving during the pandemic, we built a SAAS platform, that reached a global audience. The pandemic wasn’t just a spark for us, it was the fuel for longevity. Our customers are endowed to the brand because we helped in their darkest hour and continue to do that to this day.
In 2021, we won Women's Health Magazine's, Fit Tech Award for Most Empowering Dance Fitness Platform.
In 2022, we received national grants from iFundWomen and Visa.
Winter 2023, we were part of the Pledge LA Founder Fund and Grid 110 Accelerator.
In 2024, we are building our mobile app and scaling both B2C and B2B.
