SOCIAL GRIDS

Social Grids provide energy communities with a comprehensive, data-driven ESG reporting and tracking system that helps them monitor their performance, identify areas for improvement, and communicate their sustainability efforts to stakeholders in order to secure funding for the projects from public and private funds. Social Grids was born out of a communication hackathon organized by the EU during the EUSEW 2021. It was started by three master's students in energy and environment. Social Grids have been also part of the Clean Energy for EU islands forum in May 2022 in Rhodos islands, Greece, and Policy dialogue with the EU commissioner of energy Kadri Simson during EU Sustainable Energy Week 2022 in Bruxelles. Social Grids is currently being incubated at the Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ACEin) Incubator.
