Solar Marine

Solar Marine is a start-up company settled by innovators of multiple countries. Derived from and guided by EIT InnoEnergy, this project aims to provide integrated solar panel units of the same size as forty-foot equivalent units (FEU), which could be installed on top of tiers of cargo containers. The units covering the roof tiers of freight container ships when voyaging on the sea could supply sustainable electricity to onboard electric systems, lighting devices, control and communication devices, etc, leading to a possible green transition in the heavy-oil dependent and intensive CO2 involved marine industry.
