Sol-biochar

In response to the pressing social and environmental challenges South America faces due to climate change, Sol-Biochar empowers biomass owners and farmers to transform their crop waste into biochar. This initiative not only enables financial rewards for their carbon removal efforts but also promotes sustainable development in the Global South and strengthens long-term climate resilience. Sol-biochar is currently advancing three projects in Bolivia's Santa Cruz and Beni regions as the first stage of its broader plan to implement carbon capture initiatives across South America. Once these initial projects are successfully established, Sol-biochar plans to expand its efforts to other regions in the continent, further promoting sustainability and innovation.
