SolarShare grows community-based solar electricity generation in Ontario by engaging citizens in projects that offer tangible financial, social and environmental returns.
SolarShare is a non-profit co-operative that enables all community members to take ownership in solar projects across Ontario. SolarShare builds solar systems and invites community members to invest in them and be a part of the renewable energy revolution. With the purchase of a Solar Bond, members are making a smart investment, while at the same time feeling good about keeping profits in Ontario, creating 100% green energy for future generations, and creating local jobs.
How to invest:
-5-year bonds with a 5% return, starting at $1,000 (RRSP & TFSA eligible)
