Som-Agro Development Support (SADS)

SADS is a non-profit organization that brings together agriculture and livestock farmers groups together and mobilize communities to adopt and adapt to changing socio-economic and structural environment in Somaliland and Somalia. It seeks to provide safety nets for farming communities animal health and human nutrition in a one-health integrated agribusiness responses to challenges. Through initiatives interventions and activities lead by communities and the multiple stakeholders, SADS is committed to support individual and farmers’ networks, organizations and households to liberate incomes from agricultures. Activities will support knowledge building, attitude change and technology uptake in improved and modern agro-production. SADS empowers farming communities in Somaliland and Somalia.Using a One Health approach, we tackle challenges in agriculture, livestock, and human health, by building resilient farmers and promoting sustainable practices.
