The Somerville YMCA is committed to strengthening and enriching the lives of all individuals, families and our community through quality programs and services that build healthy mind, spirit, and body. Each year, the Somerville YMCA reaches over 3,000 people and 1,500 youths through a variety of social, cultural, and athletic programs designed to help participants grow personally, understand others, and appreciate the world’s diversity. The Somerville YMCA serves the City of Somerville and its adjacent neighborhoods in Boston, Cambridge, Arlington, Medford, Malden, and Everett, an area generally defined as lower middle-class suburbs of Boston.
