The vision of Somos El Poder is to improve the lives and influence of the Latinx population in the US today. We will do this through helping Latinx-focused nonprofits improve their fundraising operations. SEP provides classes, annual conferences (post-pandemic) and other professional development opportunities that are accessible to Latinx-focused nonprofits and Latinx fundraising professionals. In addition, we work to promote Development as a career to Latinx students at the high school and collegiate level. SEP offers organizational memberships to qualifying nonprofits on a sliding scale based on the organization's budget. Organizations are asked to provide two representatives willing to partake in SEP's professional opportunities. In addition, we provide individual memberships to Latinx Development professionals, as well as high school and college students. Access to trainings, conferences and other professional opportunities are all included in a low annual membership fee. For more information, please visit somoselpoder.org.
