Southern Swallow

Southern Swallow is a digital content strategy firm that helps corporate, startup, and public sector clients effectively communicate their stories on the web. The agency was founded in 2009 when founder Erica Swallow left corporate America to learn how to make wine at City Winery in New York City, in exchange for starting the company’s “Urban Winemaking Blog,” a few cases of vino, and a modest check. Today, the company has worked with clients large and small to help them tell their stories. From web design and development to content strategy and product marketing, we do what it takes to stand out on the web. Swallow still acts as the project manager and wordsmith on most accounts, and she pulls from her extensive network of creatives and engineers for unique design and development challenges. We've worked with large brands, such as The New York Times and Bloomingdales.com, as well as state-funded organizations, such as Winrock International. Along with these large names, we work with tech companies and media houses, such as Mashable and Contently.
