Despite Africa’s startup ecosystem growing at an impressive 46% annually, around 54% of startups still fail, and in countries like Ethiopia, that number rises to 75%. A key reason for this is cash flow issues, with 38% of startups running out of funds. What We Do Spark Tank connects startups with a large network of investors, making it easier for them to secure the funds they need. Our platform uses AI to help startups showcase their ideas in ways that catch investors' attention. We’re also building user friendly mobile app to match investors with startups that align with their interests. A2SV trains students in data structures, algorithms, and communication, preparing them for careers in tech. With over 800 students from 20+ African countries, A2SV has placed graduates in companies like Google, Amazon, and Bloomberg.
