SPARK Logistics, a joint venture between SPARK (a fully owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco) and Hutchison Ports, is a leading logistics hub located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, at the heart of the Kingdom's oil and gas industry. Spanning 3,000,000 m² with an investment exceeding US$1 billion, it is the largest dry port with bonded zone facility in Saudi Arabia. Phase 1 includes pre-fabricated warehouses, manufacturing workshops, general cargo laydown areas, a container yard, CFS, full-time customs, X-ray inspection, and more. With permits from Saudi Customs (ZATCA), operations will begin in the first half of 2025. Phase 2 will expand with additional facilities, an intermodal yard, and future connectivity to Saudi Rail. SPARK Logistics supports both SPARK Industrial City tenants and broader energy ecosystem stakeholders, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the IKTVA initiative.
