Special Operations Medic Coalition

Special Operations Medic Coalition (SOM+C) advocates for the Military Special Operations Medic and assist in their transition from Battlefield Provider to Veteran Professional. -Strengthen Special Operations Medics as a whole by providing a support system and place to engage fellow USSOF and International SOF Medics in an effort to enhance learning, educational, and personal and professional advancement opportunities. -Enhance SOF Medic abilities by providing access to high quality training and resources through a vast network across multiple military branches, civilian, and international training outlets. -Equip SOF Medics with valuable opportunities such as the SOM+C Education Grant, and official article publications in medical journals; related to deployments and events which will assist in building resumes and other advancement and professional opportunities for the SOF Medic. -Developing the SOF medic community through increasing connections with other tactical, austere, and emergency medical communities in an effort to further research and professional opportunities for the SOF medic during and after military service. -Promote community understanding of the SOF Medic and specific challenges they are faced with. This will be accomplished through community outreach events such as local fundraisers and camaraderie building events.
