The School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) is the only national organization solely dedicated to promoting the profession of school social work. We advocate for school social workers as vital mental health professionals who support the academic success, social-emotional growth, and overall well-being of all students. SSWAA connects school social workers across the country through professional development, national advocacy, leadership opportunities, and a strong sense of community. We work at the intersection of education, mental health, and equity—amplifying the voices of school social workers to drive meaningful change in schools and communities.
