St. Catherine's School is an independent Catholic day school situated in Germiston on Johannesburg's East Rand. The school was founded in 1908 by the Dominican Congregation of St. Catherine of Sienna, Newcastle, Natal. We educate boys and girls from Pre-School to Grade 12. The school is a member of Independent Schools' Association of Southern Africa, the Catholic Institute of Education and the C.S.O. Pupils write examinations of the Independent Examinations Board (I.E.B). St. Catherine's has an enrolment of 700 pupils and employs 65 members of the teaching staff. The school's colours are white, black and sky blue and our proud motto is the Latin word "Veritas"
