Stadium Place Lab is a creative studio for better cities. We work with property owners and developers, architects, and city governments to create successful buildings, precincts and projects, specialising in placemaking, retail curation, experience design, and creative direction.
We exist to create the kinds of places that the world needs more of –– places that are liveable, convivial, successful and sustainable. We believe in the power of good design and intentional programming to positively shape society through the spaces we inhabit.
The making of a good place – be it a café, a building, a street, or a neighbourhood – is fundamentally about people, and is therefore complex. We approach placemaking as both art and science, drawing on best practice while acknowledging that we don’t have all the answers. We observe, listen and engage in order to build understanding, while combining experience and experimentation to create successful places that are enduring and uplifting.
We’ve spent over 10,000 hours engaging with how people experience and move through urban space, resulting in a fitness, appreciation, and know-how that we translate into all our projects. We support our clients and collaborators through our ability to focus on the details that matter, enabling them to do what they do best.
