STAND N STRIDE FOUNDATION

Stand N Stride Foundation is a social organization working for the education of less privileged children, particularly whose families frequently migrate from one place to another in search of livelihood. Working Area - We are working in the Dwarka region of Delhi and presently looking after the holistic development of more than 200 children and their families. Vision - We seek to create a society with equal opportunities where people from underprivileged backgrounds get education and employment like others. Mission - Our mission is to stop school dropouts and to ensure that every child completes at least their Secondary Schooling(Class 10th) to become mature enough to choose the career of their choice. Legal Status - Stand N Stride is registered under Section 8 from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. All donation to it is exempted from Income Tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. BACKGROUND Stand N Stride Foundation is the brainchild of Mr. Amod Poddar, an Aeronautical Engineer by profession. Involved in different social activities since childhood, he had a close association with various social organizations whose work left a mark on him and inspired him to do his bit for society. Following the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Dr. APJ Kalam, he decided to serve society by educating underprivileged children and established the Stand N Stride foundation with the support of his wife Mrs. Vijayalaxmi, and other like-minded people in 2016. "Stand N Stride" name is based on a famous quote from Swami Vivekananda, "Arise! Awake ! and stop not until the goal is reached." Mr. Amod and his passionate team are working tirelessly for the education of more than 200 children in Dwarka, New Delhi.
