STARS Network (Swedish Trans-Atlantic Researchers and Scholars Network)

STARS Network (The Swedish Trans-Atlantic Researchers and Scholars Network) connects researchers, scholars, scientists, and students in North America with an interest in or connection to Sweden as well as researchers and academics in Sweden with an international connection. STARS' goal is to inspire interdisciplinary research collaborations between Sweden and North America and provide information to students and researchers who wish to relocate. STARS Network also provides networking and professional development opportunities for its members to increase interdisciplinary, transatlantic research, and enable more researchers to conduct research in North America and Sweden. Objectives: • Promote networking and the exchange of knowledge between Swedish researchers in North America and international researchers in Sweden • Support researchers, scholars, scientists, and students who wish to relocate or spearhead collaborations between Sweden and North America • Connect organizations, companies, and other transatlantic actors to expand access to valuable information for transatlantic collaboration and mobility • Support a mentoring network for researchers, scholars, scientists, and students early in their career who wish to, or are currently, studying or conducting research in North America or Sweden If you are a Swedish researcher in North America, have studied or conducted research in Sweden, or are interested in learning more about the Swedish research landscape, STARS Network is for you.
