Keeping in mind the growth in the EV sector, Sterling Group has now collaborated with Kunshan GLVAC (A foreign Electronics Component Manufacturing Co.) to design and manufacture advance High-Voltage DC Contactors and Relays for Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles in Bangalore under Sterling Tech- Mobility Ltd (STML). The collaboration aims to offer niche technology to manufacture and assemble HVDC Contactors and Relays locally in India and supply the products across the Global. This development will empower OEMs, TIER - I companies, and other suppliers to access advanced technology right at home, building a self-reliant ecosystem for the Electric vehicles (EV), Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and Electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) sectors.
HVDC contactors and relays are crucial components in electric and hybrid vehicles, that manage and control high-voltage electricity flow between batteries, motor controllers or inverters, and other power electronic systems.
