Het doel van de Stichting is het beheren en exploiteren van het vermogen en het bevorderen van de sociale belangen en culturele ontwikkeling in Zuid-Limburg in het algemeen en meer in het bijzonder ten behoeve van betrokkenen bij het mijnverleden.
