Strand Studios is a learning center that provides lessons, classes and workshops for all ages and interests in music, film production and acting. Whether learning the piano for personal pleasure, improving your technique on the guitar, or seeking a career as an actor, professional educators on site will critique, customize and instruct you according to your goals. Located conveniently on Main Street in Hackettstown’s historic Strand Theatre, we have renovated the balcony to provide an office, 6 studios and 2 classrooms with state of the art technology. Acoustic and digital pianos, 32” video screens, MIDI, audio and video production equipment, and free WiFi are just a few of the upgrades. Strand Studios is a host to over a dozen educators and professionals proficient in their area of expertise. All musical instruments are taught as well as voice, film production and acting. Specialized workshops and seminars in film, writing, photography and careers in music, acting and modeling. Strand Studios is owned and operated by Entertainment Entrepreneur, Prof. Chris Lance who brings to the Studio over 30 years of experience in education and entertainment accomplishments. He is certified pre-K through 12 in Music by the NJ Department of Education, has a BA in Music, Master of Science in Music Technology, and an Audio Engineering Certificate. He is a producer, director and actor and is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA & ASCAP.
