Our services include: -Mentoring A simplified way of looking at an individual's journey with our mentors would be: where is the individual in their life now vs. where would they like to be, and what actions could they take, with our support, to encourage this outcome (this includes the implementation of coping strategies, skill building, confidence and social exposure and training, and more). -Employability We have a great deal of experience in the field of employment. As part of our mentoring, we help individuals to gain the skills and confidence to work, and then help them with every part of actually finding and gaining a job. We can assist with maintaining employment through continuing mentoring, job coaching, training with employer, carrying out an occupational therapy assessment (for suggestions such as reasonable adjustments) and more. -Consultancy We provide specialist consultations for those needing extra help supporting a child or young adult with a hidden disability or other complex needs. We start with a phone call, followed by between 1-3 consultations, in which we develop a support plan, providing relevant knowledge and reassurance along the way. -Societal reintegration More recently, we are excited to be developing a team of occupational therapists, and other multi-disciplinary staff members, to assist in the societal reintegration of adults that have been sectioned under the mental health act. This service aims to reduce self-sabotaging behavior and the likelihood of re-admission. The key points that we work on here includes; life skills, connections within society, a sense of belonging and identity, coping strategies and crisis management.
