Strive Niagara provides quality licensed child care in St. Catharines, Thorold, Welland, Niagara Falls, and Grimsby. We have child care staff who are Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE’s) or working towards their ECE diploma. We offer care for children from birth to 6 years. RECEs demonstrate a thorough knowledge of child development theories. They use this knowledge to plan, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate learning strategies.
For many young parents, it is not possible to return to a mainstream secondary school with the added responsibilities of an infant or young child. The Outreach classroom is a unique setting that offers personalized academic and parenting support where they can achieve high school credits. As part of the Outreach Program, we have an on-site Family Support Promoter who works with our young parents one-on-one. Strive also supports expectant students.
