Studio Basic

Studio Basic is an architectural model and sculpture workshop, founded in Amsterdam by Batista Lopes. Our aim is to bring forth the craft of architecture model making and sculpting while combining it with the innovations of digital fabrication. At Basic we envision model making as a joyful and essential process for the development of design ideas. We create storytelling sculptures that represent visions of the future but also existing realities and environments. Ambition and collaboration shape our creativity and are always present in our models. Working with different clients and types of designers at different stages in the design process, we always respond with high level precision and innovation to create architectural sculptures.
