Studio Kitt was founded in 2007 by Kitt Allen, Studio Kitt’s principal and creative director. Kitt’s background includes training in art, design, and merchandising, and more than 20 years developing and designing successful products and product lines for major players in the mass market and specialty retail industries. With experience as both an artist and an art buyer, and expertise that ranges from current market trend forecasting, graphic design and illustration to web design and development, Kitt’s ability to translate art needs into sales goals sets her apart in the industry. An artist at heart, Kitt combines the rare blend of artistic talent and business acumen that produces results. With years of hands-on experience, Kitt understands all aspects of custom line development, seasonal product lines, surface design, end cap programs, gift market targeting, prototype creation, international manufacturing, mass production, developing brand identity and marketing strategies. Kitt’s first-hand knowledge of every process involved from presentations and product line selection to development through production and launch gives her a significant edge as an artist.
