StudyPerth provides a leadership role in building and promoting the value of international education in Western Australia, positioning Perth as an internationally recognised study destination, offering productive learning pathways in a welcoming and vibrant location. StudyPerth's key priorities are to support a positive student experience; champion diversity and ensure cultural integration; promote opportunities for employment and increased employability; demonstrate the continuing strength of WA's economy; and highlight post-study visa and migration opportunities. Originally known as Perth Education City (PEC), StudyPerth was founded in 1987 when key institutions identified a need to collaborate more cohesively on international education issues. Today, StudyPerth is committed to partnering with and unifying its member institutions to position Perth as a first-choice study destination. Current members include Western Australia’s six world-class universities, numerous vocational education providers, plus primary and secondary schools, as well as English language colleges from public and private sectors. StudyPerth is also strongly supported by the Government of Western Australia's Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.
