Sumé Solutions

We are an EdTech company that works at the intersection of technology, data, and education to create open knowledge solutions that support evidence-based teaching. We believe that technology should be available to everyone, especially when it comes to education, in order to make it accessible and enable people to develop wherever they are. To achieve this, Sumé Solutions has Research, Technology, and Education as its pillars of open, adaptable, and shareable knowledge. Our goal is to create a community composed of educators, scientists, software engineers, and all those who are passionate about education. Our story began a few years ago when we decided to research and work on ways to collaborate with educators to help them deliver quality content in online classes, as we identified issues in this area. With the Covid-19 pandemic, these problems became even clearer and more evident, raising further questions that needed assistance. Faced with this situation, we, the initiators of this project, who are passionate about education and technology, decided that something needed to be done. And as we realized that the demand would be significant, we needed to take action and organize ourselves as a company to reach all the fronts we envision in education. This is how Sumé Solutions came to be. In simple terms, we can say that the initiative arose from our concern about the challenges that the use of technology in hybrid and remote learning imposes on educators. The pandemic only intensified this issue, demonstrating that the teaching and learning process needs new solutions. Thus, through our experience in technology and education, we seek to solve a real problem of our time by creating and sharing innovative practices for teaching.
