At Sunbloom Proteins, we love food and we have the mission to support people in their food transition towards more plant-based diets. Our core business activity consists in producing and marketing functional and nutritional proteins from sunflower seeds as an ingredient for food. Our patented sunflower protein ingredient delivers unique features in terms of nutrition (60% protein content, 20% fiber content), functionality (emulsification and foaming properties) as well as sensory profile (neutral taste profile - no off-note, clean off white color). On top of that, our sunflower proteins are non-allergenic and non-GMO European origin. These unique characteristics allow stunning experiences in the segments of meat analogues, dairy analogues and health and wellness food products. Headquartered in Munich, recently incorporated to Avril, Sunbloom Proteins owns a fully certified production plant in Hungary, and is able to deliver highly qualitative industrial volumes of sunflower proteins.
