Sunway Actuarial & Financial Excellence (SAFE) was formerly known as Sunway University Actuarial Society (SUAS). Founded by a group of students from BSc (Hons) Actuarial Studies in August 2013, the society has been expanded upon the introduction of two (2) other courses under the Centre of Actuarial Studies, Applied Finance and Statistics (CASAFS), namely BSc (Hons) Financial Analysis and BSc (Hons) Financial Economics.

Unlike other clubs and societies, we distinguish ourselves as a PROFESSIONAL program affiliated student society encompassing multiple degree courses. Aimed to produce highly sought-after talents in the insurance and finance industry, we provide opportunities for members to engage with practitioners in the industry.
In SAFE, every member matters. We EMPOWER not only the committee, but the entire body of members to share their views and commit to the society to make us a better interaction platform. By being part of our leadership programme, members are also given the opportunities to LEAD projects and realize ideas.
