We’re Kristin and Shanna, and we’ve been friends since we met in our high-school drama class. If you’re curious, that was back in the mid-’90s when music was classified as ‘grunge’, the Spice Girls were still together, and both of the English Princes were single and had hair.
Now, we’re both moms to kids of our own. Though we live on opposite coasts (Kristin in California, and Shanna in North Carolina), we still keep in touch and chat about our kids, our careers, our love lives, and how we’re coming into our own.
SuperMom MD is our passion project, the “MD” signifying Mother Determined, which we are…determined mothers who have faced incredible challenges with our children, and who are determined to persevere.
We release episodes of our podcast weekly, discussing a variety of topics related to parenting, working 9-to-5, dating, and what it means to come into our own after turning 40. Our nearly 30-minute show will bring you into our lives, as we share stories from our own experiences, giving you a fair share of laughs and earnest head-shaking, and at the end, we’ll give you a little Rx for the week.
