Superside Studio is an architecture practice dedicated to design, construction, and research, based between Nicosia and London. Founded in 2011 by architect Eleonora Antoniadou, the studio has grown to a group of young emerging architects trying to increase the visibility of women in architecture. The studio collaborates with artist and designers whilst seeking creative and sustainable ways of design and making. Over the years, Superside Studio won a numerus international competitions and delivered several private and public projects. . Having a close relationship with the community, Superside Studio, is trying to tackle social and environmental issues while having a key role in redefining environments and places where people can have a revitalising experience throughout their everyday life.
Part of the studio practice is engaging with ephemeral forms of architecture, researching design through making. Blending with makers and other experts to find innovative use of materials, colour and construction methods. As part of the experimentation technological evolution and digital design and fabrication are at the focus.
