About Svitlo Education

Svitlo Education is a registered charity in England with the mission to empower the next generation of Ukrainians to become global citizens and social and political leaders. We do that through a free online extracurricular school. Founded during the Russian aggression against Ukraine in March 2022, Svitlo School has become a ray of light for many Ukrainian children (hence the name Svitlo - light in Ukrainian.) The lessons were organised during the most challenging times for Ukraine to distract the children from war, offer them education when none was available and improve their English skills. We now work with many schools and educational organisations in the UK and around the world.
