SvoBaTech is an independent provider of services and hardware for water cooled generators and similar electric equipment. A key service competence is the thorough and non-destructive online chemical cleaning of the stator cooling water system. This process is able to restore full cooling capacity within the stator winding. Other competences include troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and consulting on stator cooling water systems.
SvoBaTech also offers hardware upgrades, including state-of-the-art monitoring systems and tailored alkalization systems.
Over more than 40 years our team members have been involved in over 150 chemical cleanings on all seven continents on generator stators of 9 different OEM. Those include GE, Siemens (Westinghouse, Parsons), Alstom (BBC/ABB, GEC, Alsthom), and Elektrosila. Services were performed at major utilities such as FPL, AEP, SCE, PG&E, Xcel Energy, Duke Energy, OPG, TVA, ESKOM, Transalta, EdF and EoN.
