SVVVL (pronounced "swivel") is a Decision Intelligence (DI) research and consulting company that helps individuals, households, firms, and government agencies turn their data into insights and insights into goal-based improvements. Our mission is to enhance the quality of client decisions by enhancing the quality of their analysis. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are powerful forces that can accelerate decision-making; Decision Intelligence enables us to discover the most appropriate direction in which to apply those forces. At SVVVL, all solutions, whether for individuals or organizations, begin with understanding the context--goals, constraints, alternatives, and potential impact--before recommending AI/ML solutions. Once we have clarified the problem, we draw on various tools from different fields. This is where our research interests--ranging from AI/ML to economic modeling and quantitative finance--enable us to create intuitively obvious solutions that balance the technical and the practical.
