SWEEP FOUNDATION

Statewide Waste and Environmental Education Foundation (SWEEP FOUNDATION) is a non -governmental organization incorporated under the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria with registration number RC: 144352. The foundation is a social enterprise committed to addressing environmental and waste management issues and taking action to improve the environment through waste and environmental education programs. The foundation helps states and communities develop skills to make informed and responsible decisions affecting their immediate environment. The Statewide Waste and Environmental Education Program (SWEEP) is an initiative of our foundation promoting sustainable cities driven by and exploiting such natural resources like solar energy, wind energy etc. without affecting the natural environment. The overall goal of the project is to promote citizens participation in environmental education, waste to wealth training activities aimed at providing many health and social benefits inherent in the training activity and form a greater sense of empowerment that will expand beyond into everyday life. SWEEP FOUNDATION is implementing effective recycling programs across selected target communities with capacity to recover recyclable waste materials, generate revenue, and promote sustainable environment.
