SWFIC - South Winnipeg Family Information Centre (originally known as Fort Garry Family Life Centre) was established in the fall of 1974 as a result of community interest. 50 years strong: Today, just as in 1974, we continue to serve the needs of our community for all people. We're proud to honor the legacy of the six women: Mary Duff, Sandra McCraig, Marion Moorhouse, Donna Cawker, Brenda Nykoluk, and Leslie Godfrey, who founded SWFIC, and their vision of providing "learning for living" and a focus on "prevention and personal growth." Celebrating 50 years: As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we're grateful for the thousands of individuals who have been touched by our programs and services. Let's come together to celebrate this milestone and continue to make a positive impact on our community!
