Swim Learn Play takes speech and language therapy outside clinic confines and provides children with direct, one-on-one speech therapy and water safety skills in an aquatic setting. We work specifically with neurodivergent pediatric populations to improve communication skills and confidence. Given our unique setting and approach, we are better able to simultaneously address a child’s sensory and communication needs, delivering maximal benefits for our clients.
Swim Learn Play values a neurodiversity-affirming and growth mindset approach that tailors speech and language goals to meet the needs of each individual client. Our therapy emphasizes and respects communication autonomy and water safety in equal parts, which is why all of our speech therapists receive specialized training through the American Red Cross and related resources.
