SWISH ETH

SWiSH is the Society for Wom*n in Social Sciences and Humanities at D-GESS, ETH Zürich. The association was founded in February 2018 and has been involved in a number of activites, such as the Gender and Science Lecture Series and other workshops, lunches, and seminars! We represent wom*n at D-GESS in university-related policy issues, to guarantee the continuation of gender equality efforts and to push for equal representation and higher visibility of wom*n throughout the department. SWiSH is committed to working towards integrating more critical perspectives on gender, race, class, and disability in the curriculum. Our main goal is to achieve gender equality and diversity at D-GESS and ETH Zurich in general. We seek to establish a fair and safe environment for wom*n at the department, free from structural and institutional discrimination, and for equal representation of wom*n throughout the department.
