South West Maritime Academy provide MCA approved and industry professional led maritime safety training courses. Operating from our purpose built training facility near Bristol, we are one of the few training providers to be able to offer all their courses on one site and led by our own highly experienced team of instructors, we take great pride in delivering quality training with as much hands-on experience as possible. SWMA offer everything from STCW Basic Safety Training through to STCW2010 Update training courses and packages, along with MCA and STCW approved advanced training options in between for career progression and upskilling. Alongside our commercial maritime safety training we also run an RYA Powerboat and nautical school from our berth in Portishead Marina, near Bristol. This includes our ever popular RYA Powerboat level 2 courses which run regularly throughout the year.
