Sydney French Open

The Sydney French Open is a fundraising tennis event gathering the Francophile & tennis community in Sydney. The 11th edition will take place on 5 & 6 Oct 2024 at the Eastside Tennis Club near Maroubra. Its sole purpose is to support the charity Redkite which helps New Caledonian families coming to Children’s Hospital Westmead for their child cancer treatment. The SFO contributes to ~30% of the annual Redkite budget for those families. It is 100% volunteer based, all proceeds to Redkite. In 2023, it gathered 150 players & 350 spectators on site and helped raise $14k for Redkite with the historical support of BNP Paribas Australia and the Consulate general of France in Sydney
