Team Awareness Combating Overdose (TACO) is a 501(c)(3) public health charity that increases the safety & wellbeing of young adults by providing comprehensive, data-based drug education. Backed by APA-cited research, college students can save lives by making factually-informed decisions surrounding their own drug use and be trained how to respond to an opioid or other overdose.
T.A.C.O. subsidizes & distributes free Fentanyl Test Strips on 24+ US college campuses to remove barriers for students in preventing accidental Fentanyl overdoses. Grant-funded nasal overdose reversal agents (Naloxone/Narcan/Opvee) are deliberately distributed to students cost-free by our 275+ student volunteers nationwide. T.A.C.O. is a 100% student/EMS-volunteer run organization.
