Takween Cultural Club

We have found that the starting point has to form a memory— an intellectual memory with the scent of books, while watching human circles and hearing their voices of which an idea is expressed to defend a principle and explain a vision. We believe that such beginnings are never forgotten nor they disappear. And if under any circumstance, they do, we start on searching for new soil to cultivate and replant our seeds. In Takween, we work to reclaim minds that continue to produce and create. Vision: create a society where people are openminded, tolerant, aware of and interested in culture, arts, and literature. Goals: 1- To help our members to improve their skills and develop their creative abilities. 2- To positively change the typical image of culture and reintroduce it to suit our modern world. 3- To develop the abilities of the youth to get them involved in serious discussions and to express themselves freely. 4- To create a safe and free environment for the youth and work with them to create new artistic means to express themselves. It is a cultural club, which was established in June 2017 by a team known as “Female initiative to doing good”, with the aim to achieve cultural and intellectual goals by making periodic events, and permanent and renewed members.
