A small national charity based in Leamington Spa, Tango2UK improves the lives of those affected by TANGO2 Deficiency Disorder (T2DD) in the UK.
T2DD is a rare genetic metabolic disorder affecting children from birth and causing long-term health problems. It is estimated that 1 in a million people have T2DD, which means it can be a challenging and lengthy process to diagnose due to the limited resources, research, and expertise on this very rare disease.
Through our work, we aim to create a community for children, young people, and their families living in the UK to create a sense of belonging, develop meaningful dialogues, and reduce isolation within the community. We are always looking for support to improve the quality of life of those impacted by T2DD through supporting families.
