In June 2024, a new chapter began with the inauguration of a modern 2,200 m² cruise terminal operated by Global Ports Holding. This facility enhances both transit and turnaround operations, featuring spacious passenger areas, customs facilities, a tourist information center, a café, and a gift shop—all designed to provide a seamless and comfortable experience for travelers. Looking ahead, the Port Authority of Tarragona plans to implement Onshore Power Supply (OPS), enabling docked ships to connect to the local power grid and further reducing environmental impact. With these advancements, Tarragona Cruise Port is poised to offer cruise passengers an exceptional and sustainable gateway to the rich cultural and natural attractions of the Costa Daurada.
