TECBAR – The Technology and Construction Bar Association

TECBAR was founded in 1983 and now has over 400 members. It is the specialist bar association for employed or self-employed barristers who practise in the field of construction disputes. Members appear before a range of tribunals, including the Technology and Construction Court (part of the UK’s Business and Property Courts) and before adjudicators, arbitrators and other tribunals, both domestically and internationally. TECBAR is a member association of the Bar Council and a TECBAR committee representative attends relevant Bar Council meetings to provide input on new proposals and consultations about the future of the Bar and its specialist divisions.
