Technistone's headquarters is located in the heart of Europe, in the Czech Republic, where the installation of the original italian BretonStone technology began in 1991 in Hradec Králové on an area of 20,000 m2. A year later, a high-quality and innovative technical stone was produced as Bohemiastone. Already at the very beginning, the Starlight product line was developed and marketed, which has become a globally recognized term for high quality and premium technical stone and remains to this day. In 1997 Bohemiastone was transferred to Technistone, a.s. In the years to come, Technistone has launched a number of new products such as Crystal Quartz White, Taurus Brown Pearl and Venetian Day, etc. The production of hardened stone has expanded in 2005 by installing a new production line. In addition, Technistone is an active member of A.St.A World-Wide (World Association of Technical Stone Manufacturers), helping to set standards for product safety and technical stone production.
