About TEDxCMU
TEDxCMU is an entirely student-run organization at Carnegie Mellon University licensed under TED to create independently organized events in the CMU and Pittsburgh community. We aim to provide an accessible platform for some of the world's most bold and innovative thinkers to share their ideas worth spreading. About TEDx In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxCMU, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. To learn more, visit www.ted.com and www.tedxcmu.org, or email us at tedxcmu@gmail.com.
