Telling Story, Inc.

We are a 3x New York EMMY Award-winning filmmaking firm, founded in 2005, and we work exclusively with nonprofits. We make series for social media, videos for annual galas, education and public advocacy campaigns, and recruitment and fundraising appeals. We do the work of an agency, generating ideas, strategies, and creative solutions. We also do the work of a production company, providing and operating all the tools of filmmaking. But it’s best to think of us as a workshop – small, collaborative, curious, enthusiastic, and open to trying things. Our methods are playful but our standards are rigorous. Philosophically, we are driven by compassion and justice. We uphold the dignity of the people we film. We are idealists who reject cynicism. Our clients work in human and social services, local economic development, public health, education, religion, civic engagement, and advocacy for immigrant communities.
