TerraManta is a machine learning platform for forecasting commodity prices starting with crude oil and corn futures liquid contracts.
Our business plan is to manage outside capital and trade crude oil and corn futures in a separate trading entity with TerraManta providing an exclusive license. It’s the most practical way to demonstrate the value of the forecasting approach without selling highly valuable pricing signals.
The value of the software will be represented by revenues / profits in the trading entity. Our product roadmap includes focus on additional energy, agricultural and metals markets.
In early April 2020, TerraManta software forecasted that WTI front month contract would go negative between April 9 and April 30. It did: on April 20.
TerraManta is currently in the process of raising a substantial equity round and later seed capital for the hedge fund. Our paper trading fund is up 11% since May 1, 2020 on annualized basis (limited by available computing power).
