We provide the insights, tools, and supporting capabilities that help food and agribusinesses achieve commercial success on the path to a more resilient, sustainable, and prosperous food system. Our team has a proven track record of integrating fit-for-purpose solutions at every node in the food value chain to enhance transparency, facilitate collaboration, and establish the market mechanisms needed to build trust and unlock shared value across the entire food system. Terra Nexus manages an extensive expert network of food and climate professionals who are doers, changemakers, and implementers of truly unique solutions. Our approach is to support the full commercialization life cycle, working from insight to action as we design, launch, and scale better products and services. Our capabilities include expert advisory, managed services, and end-to-end operations of sustainable food & agribusiness programs. In 2023, the Terra Nexus advisory and management team expanded its offerings to launch the company’s first fully owned and operated venture by creating a food loss and waste credit program to verify methane emissions reductions associated with reducing food waste. The program will produce high-quality insets or on-registry carbon assets (both using Verra’s VM0046 methodology), providing new incentives to develop system-wide changes in how food is grown, moved, and sold.
