In 2023, the Terra Nexus advisory and management team expanded its offerings to launch the company’s first fully owned and operated venture by creating a food loss and waste credit program to verify methane emissions reductions associated with reducing food waste. The program will produce high-quality insets or on-registry carbon assets (both using Verra’s VM0046 methodology), providing new incentives to develop system-wide changes in how food is grown, moved, and sold.
Our current sustainable food system focus: regenerative agriculture, rangeland restoration, aquaculture, biodiversity, responsible supply chains, and food loss and waste.
