Everything started in the 1940s, when the forerunner of our company began to devote himself to the barter of what he was collecting; cartons, papers, ropes and old clothes, for earthenware or household porcelain. In this way began the recovery, currently so trendy and necessary for the ecological sustainability of humanity. Reached the current denomination in 1973, we specialize ourselves in the production of industrial cleaning rags. With the new times, the entity evolved and in 1994 was born Wipppy and 10,000 m2 of facilities, located where was located an old paper factory that was built two centuries ago. On this basis, part of this building is considered as Monument of Historic Artistic Interest of our city. Although in recent years we have adapted the new facilities to the company, the chopping functions of cleaning rags still being totally manual and handcrafted. Texlimca, SA, has modernized the production systems: cutting machines, automatic presses, forklifts, bins, etc. A series of investments that allow us, under the current circumstances, to be leaders of the market. In addition to the above, we have developed the R&D&i department, producing and/or distributing new fabrics, wet wipes for various utilities and granular absorbents, all with the development of our Wippy brand. This effort, converts Texlimca SA in textile specialist and the first European company in the sector to obtain the certificates of quality and environment, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 respectively; using clean technologies, is considered a company aware of and dedicated to the environment’s protection. So on, with the aim of pursuing working in this way, improving day by day and offering our best products and service, we implement the Corporate Social Responsibility as a business philosophy.
